Introduction

Man has a basic need for the strength and knowledge of his Creator. This need cannot be explained nor can it be satisfactorily communicated from one individual to another except as a profession of faith and belief in the existence of an Almighty God.

This belief, although vague and even mysterious in origin, motivates man to consider his surroundings, the magnificence of the universe, the complexities of living with this fellow man, and life and death as applied to himself. These considerations, once they are established in an individual’s mind, will lead to a basic decision of acceptance or denial of God’s existence.
